The COVID-19 pandemic in Bangladesh is part of the worldwide pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The virus was confirmed to have spread to Bangladesh in March 2020. The first three known cases were reported on 8 March 2020 by the country’s epidemiology institute, IEDCR. Since then, the pandemic has spread day by day over the whole nation and the number of affected people has been increasing.

Bangladesh is the second most affected country in South Asia, after India.

The current wave of COVID-19 has proved to be the deadliest in Bangladesh. The death count continues to climb, while confirmed cases have surpassed 1 million. Border Districts are getting affected most. In this pandemic situation, there is a terrible shortage of oxygen supply machines in different hospitals of Bangladesh.

In this situation, Earthmoving Solution Limited stands by the border districts hospital of Bangladesh.Earthmoving Solution Limited donated 5 Oxygen Concentrator Machine’s, 1 Oxygen Cylinder and 7500 surgical masks to Sadar Hospital Chuadanga and Shatkhira Medical College & Hospital in Shatkhira District.
